A visit to A breath away spa for a massage is a wonderful way to experience the healing power of touch and it is one of the easiest ways to maintain good health. Massage can enhance circulation, remove toxins from the body, shred the body and mind of stress, and help rejuvenate sore, tense muscles. A massage boosts the body's ability to resist disease and reconnect the body with the mind. All of our massages are performed by New York State licensed massage therapists who have many hours of additional training in specialty areas.

Our double massage rooms are truly unique; you can invite a friend, your spouse, or a sibling for a treatment that you can enjoy together, in the same room for a "double" massage.

Your destination to relaxation can be reached by indulging in a Reflexology session. These sessions last approximately 1 hour and aims to treat the body, mind and spirit.

Swedish Massage
This treatment focuses on relaxation. The Swedish massage reduces stress and anxiety, calms the nervous system, enhances circulation, and soothes muscle aches and strains. In general, it relaxes the body and rests the mind. A Swedish massage gently manipulates your muscles to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, increase flexibility, and induce relaxation.

Therapeutic Massage
This treatment is directed specifically to the muscle fibers to release deeply-held patterns of tension. It is an intense massage with lasting results. The pressure exerted is continually monitored by the massage therapist to keep the work within the comfort range of the client.

Your session may concentrate on one or more designated areas. A therapeutic massage targets specific deep muscle groups to achieve relaxation and balanced muscle action where you are holding tension. This type of massage is incorporated into a Swedish massage.

Hot Stone Massage
This treatment combines a Swedish massage with the placement and use of smooth, warm basalt lava stones. The penetrating heat from the stones assists in relaxing and rejuvenating tired, sore muscles. It melts away your tensions; the hot smooth lava stones deeply penetrate warmth into the tightest muscles to help relax your body.

Maternity Massage
There is no greater work than carrying a child. This massage is a great way to stay relaxed and healthy during a very special 40 weeks. It will improve circulation, reduce leg cramps, swollen ankles and relieve headaches. A true gift to baby and you.

60 minutes - $65

Mommy, Daddy, and Me
Bring the baby in for its first massage. This treatment consists of basic infant massage instruction for the parents, it can be a wonderful bonding experience for the parents and baby. Infant massage can help improve baby's circulation, induce relaxation and calming. It can also help with colic and gas pains the baby may be going through. Any remaining time is designated to the new mommy. The therapist will help reduce some of that new parent stress and post partum stress endured by the mother during labor.
